Inspired by the fishermen of Lake Victoria and the spirit of Kisumu, this design imagines a showdown between a professional cyclists with the latest and most expensive equipment versus a local legend whose endurance has been tested by the lake, the sun and years of experience.

The cyclists might have the latest technology but the locals have something you cannot buy: local knowledge, unshakable confidence and a lifetime of experience. 

Part of the Tembea Nami Kisumu Cycling Edition 2026, this design celebrates the people who give Kisumu its character and reminds us that every place has its own champions.
